"These files contain the active certifications held by regularly employed educators only. It does not include all active certifications, meaning that it does not include certification data for educators who are not regularly employed by a district or LEA subject to State oversight. Both the employment data and the certification data in the included files are as of the last Friday in October of the academic year in question, which for the included data is 26 October 2018. If a district / LEA does not enter an employee into the system for some reason, the educator will not appear in the PIEMS employment data and will not appear in the certification files generated from the employment data." |
